Delicious meal ready in just 45 minutes - perfect for a quick midweek dinner!
Ingredients:
  • Crusty bread, to serve
  • 500g extra-lean beef chipolata sausages
  • 1 medium brown onion, halved, sliced
  • 400g can Cannellini Beans, drained, rinsed
  • 800g can Italian Diced Tomatoes
  • 70.63 gm barbecue sauce
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large, heavy-based saucepan over medium-high heat, heat half of the oil until shimmering. Brown sausages in batches, turning occasionally, for 5 to 6 minutes until cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  • Heat the rest of the oil in a pan, then sauté the onion and garlic until softened, about 5 to 6 minutes. Stir in the beans, tomato, barbecue sauce, and sugar. Add the sausages back to the pan, cover, bring to a boil, then simmer on medium-low heat for 25 minutes until sausages are cooked and the sauce thickens. Finish by sprinkling with parsley and serve with bread.
