Elevate broiled beef kabobs with a delicious sweet and spicy twist - perfect for a romantic dinner for two!
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 lb boneless beef sirloin steak (about 1 inch thick), fat removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
Instructions:
  • Combine all the ingredients, except for the beef, in a small glass or plastic bowl. Add the beef and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (but no more than 8 hours), stirring occasionally to marinate.
  • Preheat the oven to broil. Take the beef out of the marinade, saving the marinade. Skewer the beef cubes onto 2 (11-inch) metal skewers with a 1/4 inch space between each cube. Arrange them on a rack in a broiler pan.
  • Broil 4 minutes with tops 5 inches from heat. Turn and brush with reserved marinade. Continue broiling for 3 to 5 minutes until brown and medium doneness.
