Orange marmalade glazed pork chops on savory stuffing in just 20 minutes - a mouthwatering delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf (1 pound) sliced bakery white bread
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 medium stalks celery, diced (1 1/4 cups)
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons dried sage leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 8 pork boneless center-cut loin chops (about 4 ounces each)
  • 3 tablespoons orange marmalade
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 200°F. Arrange bread slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 1 hour until dry. Crumble enough of the dried bread to make 10 cups and transfer to a large bowl.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. In an 8-inch skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté celery and onion in the butter for 6 to 8 minutes until tender. Add sage, thyme, salt, and pepper, then pour over bread crumbs and mix well. Pour broth over the bread mixture and toss until combined (the mixture will be dry). Transfer the mixture into an ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish.
  • Lay the pork chops on top of the stuffing. Combine marmalade and lemon juice in a small bowl, then brush the mixture over the pork. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes until the pork is cooked through.
