Deliciously crispy bacon and onion roasted red potatoes, perfect with steak. Butter adds extra richness.
Ingredients:
  • 5 pounds red potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 0.5 cup butter, diced
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  • Spread the potatoes evenly in a greased dish. Top with onion and bacon, then add small pieces of butter on top. Cover the dish with foil.
  • After 45 minutes in the oven, remove the foil and stir the potatoes. Broil for about 5 minutes until they're crispy, stirring occasionally for even browning. Serve right away.
