Oven-Fried Pork Chops with Cranberry Applesauce

Zesty baked pork chops with fruit-berry sauce, ready in under an hour for a delightful dinner!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup finely crushed cornbread stuffing mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppered seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 egg
  • 4 (4 to 5-oz.) boneless pork loin chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
  • 1 cup purchased chunky or home-style applesauce
  • 1/2 cup canned whole berry cranberry sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease a 13x9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a shallow bowl, mix together crushed stuffing, seasoned salt, and thyme. In another shallow bowl, beat together milk and egg until well combined.
  • Coat pork chops in the egg mixture and then thoroughly cover them with the crumb mixture before arranging them in a greased pan.
  • Bake at 425°F until golden brown and fully cooked, about 30-35 minutes.
  • Mix the applesauce and cranberry sauce in a small bowl until well combined. Serve the cranberry applesauce alongside the pork chops.
