Homemade sausage and bean stew: Cook sausages, add beans, tomatoes, and herbs. Simmer for 30 minutes. Enjoy a hearty, flavorful meal!
Ingredients:
  • 300-350g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 large bunch spinach
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 40.00 ml ginger paste (try to use fresh ginger)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3.75 gm ground cumin, toasted
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • Salt, to taste
  • 20.00 ml vegetable or sunflower oil
Instructions:
  • Thoroughly wash the spinach, then blanch it in boiling water for approximately ten minutes until tender. Quickly transfer the spinach to cold water to preserve its vibrant green color. Puree the blanched spinach in a blender.
  • In a wok, heat the oil and add the aromatic cinnamon stick, onions, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent, being careful not to brown them.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer until softened. Stir in the cumin, chili, and salt, and cook for an additional ten minutes.
  • Add the spinach puree to the onion-tomato masala and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add the paneer cubes and cook until they are tender. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding salt if needed.
  • Sprinkle the aromatic garam masala and allow it to simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Serve the flavorful palak paneer with flatbreads such as roti, parathas, or fragrant basmati rice.
