Savory button mushrooms seared to perfection with beef broth and garlic, finished with a creamy ricotta topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound button mushrooms, stems trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 cube beef bouillon, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ricotta cheese
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until they start to release their juices, approximately 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar, beef bouillon, and garlic. Continue cooking and stirring until bouillon dissolves and mushrooms turn golden brown, for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Finish by folding in ricotta cheese and take the mixture off the heat.
