Butter-garlic bay shrimp cooked in lemon juice on stovetop.
Ingredients:
  • 8 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 pound peeled and deveined bay shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, divided
  • 1 pinch garlic salt, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over high heat, melt 6 tablespoons of butter until sizzling. Add shrimp, cooking and stirring in the hot butter until beautifully browned, which takes around 2 minutes. Then, lower the heat to medium-low.
  • Add 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice, garlic salt, salt, and pepper to the mixture and cook for about 1 minute until heated through. Then, take the pan off the heat and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon juice.
