Delicious shrimp in crispy panko, cooked with zesty lime butter sauce - a quick and elegant meal centerpiece.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 pound uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons oil, divided
  • 1 lime, juiced
Instructions:
  • Whisk together egg and water for a light egg wash. Pour breadcrumbs into a shallow dish.
  • Coat shrimp in the egg wash, then dredge in breadcrumbs.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook shrimp until firm and opaque, about 4 to 6 minutes. Set aside to keep warm.
  • After rinsing the pan, heat butter and the 2 remaining tablespoons of oil in it. Add lime juice and bring it to a boil. Let it boil for 1 minute. Add the cooked shrimp back to the pan and stir to coat in the zesty lime sauce. Serve promptly.
