Crispy pan-fried tofu coated in flavorful nutritional yeast and spices - a versatile vegan dish for any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package water-packed firm tofu, drained and rinsed
  • 6 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1.5 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Cut the tofu into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
  • Sprinkle nutritional yeast onto a plate and blend in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat tofu slices evenly with nutritional yeast mixture by rolling.
  • In a nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook tofu slices until they are golden brown and crispy on each side for 3 to 5 minutes.
