Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) panettone
  • 1 (8 ounce) container mascarpone cheese
  • 0.33333334326744 cup orange juice
  • 0.33333334326744 cup orange marmalade
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Cut the panettone into 1-inch slices, then cut each slice into 4 wedges. Combine mascarpone, orange preserves, and orange juice in a small bowl. In a separate large bowl, whisk together eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Dip the panettone slices into the egg mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Fry them in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides, approximately 3 minutes per side. Serve alongside the orange mascarpone sauce.
