Whip up quick pan-fried pork chops with brandy-apple cider sauce for a delicious dinner in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops, 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick (4 oz each), trimmed of fat
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup brandy or apple cider
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Season both sides of the pork chops generously with a blend of seasoned salt, thyme, garlic powder, and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat, and sear the pork chops for about 5 minutes until the bottoms are nicely browned.
  • Flip the pork chops and lower the heat to medium-low. Continue cooking uncovered for an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until the pork chops are fully cooked. Place the pork chops on a serving platter, cover with foil to keep warm, and prepare the sauce.
  • Pour the cider and brandy into the skillet and bring to a boil while stirring to release the flavorful bits at the bottom. Reduce the heat and add the butter, simmer uncovered and stir occasionally for 1 to 3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Pour it over the chops and enjoy!
