Paprika beef skewers

Ingredients:
  • 750g beef rump steak, trimmed and cut into 3cm cubes
  • 117.50 gm sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 11.80 gm Dijon mustard
  • 5.00 gm paprika
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 56.88 gm olive oil
  • 20.80 gm tomato sauce
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together the oil, garlic, mixed herbs, paprika, tomato sauce, salt, and cracked pepper. Add the meat and thoroughly coat it. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
  • Soak 12 bamboo skewers in water for 15 minutes to protect them from burning. Drain and set aside.
  • Skewer the marinated meat pieces for grilling.
  • Preheat a stove-top grill or non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Grill skewers in batches for 4-5 minutes each until cooked. Remove from heat.
  • Mix tangy mustard with creamy sour cream until smooth, to serve as a dipping sauce for the skewers.
