Easy, flavorful orzo with garlic, butter, and Parmesan cheese - the perfect quick side dish!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a lively boil. Add orzo and cook, occasionally stirring, until al dente, about 11 minutes. Drain well.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter until golden and fragrant. Cook and stir garlic in the butter until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Incorporate orzo into the pan of fragrant garlic, then fold in Parmesan cheese, milk, fresh parsley, and a pinch of salt and black pepper.
