Elevate your pizza game with this Parmesan and chicken broth sauce in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • In a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add onion and garlic, sauté for about 5 minutes until fragrant. Mix in flour until smooth.
  • Carefully incorporate the broth, milk, and basil into the pot. Stir continuously for about 3 minutes until the mixture thickens. Take the pot off the heat and gently fold in the cheese. Serve right away or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
