Satisfying Salami and Pea Pasta: A delicious twist on Pasta Aglio Olio with savory garlicky salami and sweet green peas. Addictively good and easy to make!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package dry mostaccioli pasta
  • 2 cups frozen green peas
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 8 ounces thinly sliced hard salami
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Add pasta and cook for 6 minutes. Stir in peas and continue cooking for 4 to 6 more minutes until pasta is al dente. Drain and return to the pot.
  • 1. In a skillet over medium heat, warm up the oil and butter until sizzling. Add green onions and garlic, then season with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cook until the green onions are tender. Mix in salami and heat through. Transfer everything to the pot with the cooked pasta, add Parmesan cheese, and gently toss to combine.
