Indulgent peach pie with creamy sour cream filling, baked to perfection in a flaky homemade crust.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup butter, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 4 fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and butter a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Combine 1 1/4 cups flour, butter, 2 tablespoons sour cream, and salt in a food processor. Pulse until a large ball of dough forms. Press the dough into the pie dish to create the crust.
  • Bake the pie crust in a preheated oven until beautifully golden brown, for approximately 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
  • Preheat oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C). Artfully place peach slices in the pie crust.
  • In a large bowl, gently whisk egg yolks. Incorporate sugar, 1/3 cup sour cream, and 2 tablespoons flour; mix until thoroughly combined. Pour the egg mixture over the peaches and cover the pie with aluminum foil.
  • Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, then bake an additional 15 minutes until the peach filling is set.
