Irresistible peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes - a family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups (260g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter, plus more for cooking pancakes
  • 4 teaspoons honey
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • Combine wet ingredients: Beat eggs in a large bowl until whites and yolks are blended. Mix in milk, peanut butter, melted butter, and honey until well combined.
  • Integrate dry ingredients into wet mixture and fold in chocolate chips until combined.
  • To make the pancakes, melt 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of batter for each silver dollar-sized pancake, leaving space between them. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until small bubbles form on top and edges brown, then flip and cook the other side for another 2 to 3 minutes. Add more butter to the skillet as necessary.
  • Serve the pancakes right away, with optional syrup. For leftovers, cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Reheat briefly in a toaster oven or enjoy at room temperature. If you loved the recipe, please leave us a rating below!
