Irresistible peanut butter cereal toffee that pleases all ages.
Ingredients:
  • 4 1/2 cups Reese's Puffs® cereal
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips, melted*
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups miniature pretzel twists, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 15x10x1-inch pan with parchment paper. Spread the cereal evenly in the pan, pressing it tightly together. Set aside for now.
  • Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until well blended and bring to a boil. Cook for about 5 minutes until it turns dark golden brown. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Drizzle the mixture over the cereal and spread evenly using a spatula.
  • Bake for a crisp 10 minutes. Cool for 3 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together melted chocolate and peanut butter until smooth. Drizzle the mixture over the cereal and spread it evenly. Top with pretzels and peanuts, then press them into the chocolate mixture.
  • Chill for approximately 1 hour until the chocolate is firm. Unmold from the pan and slice into 5 rows by 4 rows. Then, cut each square into 2 triangles diagonally.
