Upgrade your frozen treats by serving them in chocolate-lined peanut butter cookie bowls instead of boring ice cream cones.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • Water, oil and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 1 bag (10 oz) dark chocolate chips
  • Ice cream and toppings, as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Place muffin pan(s) upside down on a flat surface and lightly coat the bottom(s) with cooking spray.
  • Prepare the cookie dough following the instructions on the pouch. Roll 2 tablespoons of dough into a ball, then gently press it down to flatten and shape it on the bottom of an upside-down muffin cup. Continue with the rest of the dough, placing each ball in every other muffin cup.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly golden. Allow to cool on the pan before carefully removing.
  • Put chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals on High, stirring each time, until smooth. Brush cups with melted chocolate using a pastry brush. Allow to cool at room temperature or in the freezer before filling with ice cream and toppings.
