Indulgent dessert fusing peanut butter cookie dough with decadent brownies for a heavenly treat.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 2.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix together 2 1/2 cups of white sugar, 1 cup of melted butter, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to beat in the eggs one at a time until thoroughly blended.
  • Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, cocoa powder, and salt using a sifter. Mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture until fully combined. Spread the batter evenly in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, about 35-40 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, create a tangy mixture by combining milk and vinegar. Let it sit for 5 minutes to sour the milk. Then, add 1/2 cup of butter, peanut butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, and brown sugar. Stir until the mixture is velvety smooth and fully blended.
  • Combine 1 1/4 cups of flour with baking soda, baking powder, and salt, and sift together in a small bowl. Fold the mixture into the peanut butter until fully incorporated.
  • Cover warm brownies with a luscious peanut butter mixture, then generously drizzle with melted chocolate chips. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours before slicing into delectable squares.
