Easy and delicious peanut butter marshmallow bars - perfect snack for kids!
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 bag (10 ounces) large marshmallows
  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 24 Reese's peanut butter cups miniatures, unwrapped
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 13x9x2-inch rectangular pan by spraying it with cooking spray. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine margarine, peanut butter, and marshmallows. Microwave the mixture uncovered on High for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 3 minutes, pausing to stir after 1 minute, until it is melted and smooth when stirred. Add the cereal to the bowl and mix until well coated.
  • Press the mixture in the pan with the back of a buttered spoon. Quickly make 24 indentations in rows (6x4) in the mixture using the handle of a wooden spoon. Gently press peanut butter cups into the indentations and let it cool. Finally, cut the mixture into squares.
