Indulgent creamy pear pie - a cherished family recipe passed down through generations.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 2 pears - peeled, cored and cut in half
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Gently mold the pie pastry into a 9-inch pie plate, creating a beautiful fluted edge. Arrange the pear halves cut side down in the center, with the small ends pointing towards the middle.
  • Combine butter and sugar in a medium bowl until smooth. Add eggs one by one, beating until light and fluffy. Mix in flour and vanilla. Pour over the pears.
  • Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven until the pears are tender and the custard is firm in the middle. Allow it to cool completely before slicing and serving.
