Impress guests with delightful pear, nut, and oat cookies - a scrumptious dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats (do not use quick-cooking)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1 cup chopped dried pear
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until fully combined. Fold in oats, walnuts, and dried pear. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto cookie sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until golden on the edges. Let cool for 2 minutes, then transfer from the cookie sheets to the cooling racks.
