Indulgent treat blending chocolate chips, pecans, and coconut for a perfect mix of candy and cookie.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted, cooled slightly
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup broken pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut, toasted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 15x10x1-inch pan with shortening.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. In a large bowl, cream together butter, both sugars, and vanilla. Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring until the mixture is smooth. Fold in chocolate chips, pecans, and coconut until dough forms a crumbly texture. Press the dough evenly into the pan, ensuring it reaches almost to the edges.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Allow to cool in the pan for approximately 30 minutes until completely cooled, then break the cookie into pieces.
