Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1.3329999446869 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups finely chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Start by melting butter, corn syrup, and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat until it comes to a boil, stirring regularly. Combine flour and pecans, then add to the boiling mixture. Boil the mixture a second time before removing from heat. Spoon the mixture onto prepared cookie sheets, making sure to leave at least a 4-inch space between each cookie for spreading.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown. If shaping into cookies, allow to cool briefly until warm to the touch but still hot.
