Pecan-crusted trout fillets baked to perfection for a simple yet sophisticated seafood dish.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 0.5 cup crushed pecans
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • all-purpose flour, or as needed
  • 4 (4 ounce) fillets trout
  • 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and give the baking sheet a quick spritz with cooking spray.
  • Combine pecans, rosemary, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl. Place flour in another shallow bowl. Coat trout fillets in flour, then egg, and finally in pecan mixture, pressing gently. Arrange fillets on a baking sheet.
  • Cook in a warm oven until fish easily flakes with a fork, for about 10-12 minutes.
