Get the kids involved in decorating this adorable giant cookie with PEEPS® marshmallow chicks and bunnies for a festive spring party treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ green and pink gel food color
  • Spring-colored nonpareils or Betty Crocker™ Cupcake Gems-Easter Pearls
  • 20 PEEPS® party cake flavored or other flavor marshmallow chicks
  • 2 PEEPS® brand marshmallow bunnies (yellow and pink)
  • 2 tablespoons multicolored jelly beans (about 14 jelly beans)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a 12-inch rimmed pizza pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. Prepare cookie mix as instructed on the pouch. Press dough evenly into the pan using lightly floured fingers. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes until deep golden brown. Cool completely for about 1 hour, then lift the cookie from the pan by pulling up the foil edges. Carefully remove foil and transfer the cookie to a serving platter or tray.
  • Pour 3/4 cup of vanilla frosting into a small bowl and mix in green food coloring. In another small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of frosting with pink food coloring. Transfer each colored frosting and the remaining white frosting into separate resealable food-storage freezer bags. Cut a 1/2-inch opening in a corner of each bag. Squeeze alternating mounded circles of green, pink, and white frosting around the outer edge of the cookie. Sprinkle with sprinkles.
  • Place a dollop of pink or white frosting on the bottom of each PEEPS® marshmallow chick, arranging them in a circle within the outer frosting border of the cookie. Make a small green frosting circle in the center of the cookie and use a fork to create a grassy texture. Nestle PEEPS® marshmallow bunnies in the center, and garnish with jelly beans and sprinkles to your liking.
  • For a delightful presentation, slice the dessert into wedges and top each one with a festive PEEPS® marshmallow chick or bunny.
