Delicious marbled peppermint bark - perfect for holiday gatherings or gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Chex Mix® Muddy Buddies® Peppermint Bark, coarsely crushed
  • 1 package (24 oz) vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark), broken into sections
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Prepare a cookie sheet with waxed paper, foil, or cooking parchment paper. In a large microwavable measuring cup or casserole dish, melt the vanilla coating in the microwave on high heat for 1 to 1.5 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until almost melted. Stir until smooth, then mix in 3/4 cup of cereal. In a separate microwavable measuring cup or casserole dish, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave on high heat for 1 to 1.5 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until almost melted. Stir until smooth, then mix in 3/4 cup of cereal.
  • Spread the vanilla mixture evenly on a lined cookie sheet to 1/4-inch thickness. Spoon the chocolate mixture over the vanilla layer in a random pattern. Use a knife to create swirls, ensuring both white and dark chocolate show (don't fully mix the colors). Sprinkle with the remaining cereal, gently pressing it down. Allow it to cool and harden for about 1 hour. Once set, break it into pieces and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
