Pepperoni Casserole

Delicious twist on classic spaghetti: Cheese and pepperoni topping, option to use hamburger instead of sausage.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked rotini pasta
  • 1 pound ground Italian sausage
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 2 (12 ounce) containers cottage cheese
  • 1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives
  • 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages sliced pepperoni
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a medium casserole dish.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, 8-10 minutes. Drain.
  • Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Combine the cooked pasta, sausage, and pasta sauce in the casserole dish. In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese, olives, and mozzarella cheese. Spread the cheese mixture on top of the pasta and sausage. Garnish with pepperoni slices.
  • Bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven until golden brown and bubbling.
