Indulge in a rich, creamy basil-infused sweet red pepper dish with garlic, walnuts, and onion over cheese tortellini. Perfect for a cozy dinner for two.
Ingredients:
  • 19 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 0.5 cup julienned red bell pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup ground walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced green onion
Instructions:
  • Cook the tortellini as instructed on the package.
  • In a skillet, sauté red pepper and garlic in butter until pepper is crisp-tender. Add cream and simmer for 8-10 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in walnuts, basil, and onion, and heat until warmed through. Enjoy!
  • After draining the tortellini, mix it with the sauce until it's completely coated. Top with your preferred garnish before serving.
