Filipino cornstarch butter cookies: Light, crispy, and gluten-free!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3.6600000858307 cups cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare cookie sheets by greasing them.
  • Combine butter and sugar in a bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in cornstarch, cream of tartar, and baking powder until fully incorporated. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and space them 1 inch apart on cookie sheets.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown, then cool on wire racks.
