Easy cinnamon roll pinwheels: Flaky pie crust smothered in cinnamon-sugar, rolled up for a quick treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 (9 inch) refrigerated pie crust
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Roll out pie crust into an 8x12-inch rectangle, 1/8-inch thick. Spread softened butter all over. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar evenly. Roll dough tightly from a shorter end. Cut into 1-inch slices. Place rolls seam-side down on baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until perfectly golden, for 20-30 minutes. Allow it to cool and set on the baking sheet for a moment before moving to a wire rack to cool fully.
