Elevate your brunch with this decadent brioche fruit toast cooked in a pie maker with sweetened condensed milk.
Ingredients:
  • 16 slices brioche fruit toast
  • 4 eggs
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • Maple syrup, to serve (optional)
  • Ice-cream, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Heat up the pie maker while cutting a brioche slice with a 6.5cm pastry cutter to make a disc.
  • Combine the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla in a shallow bowl, whisking until well blended.
  • Dip half of the brioche discs in the egg mixture for 1 minute per side. Allow excess mixture to drip back into the bowl. Place 2 pieces in each compartment of the pie maker. Cook with the lid closed for about 4 minutes until they turn golden and the egg is fully cooked.
  • Continue dipping the rest of the brioche discs in the egg mixture. Arrange the French toast on a platter, drizzle with maple syrup, and serve with ice cream, if desired.
