Cheesy vegemite pastry swirls, a kid-friendly snack.
Ingredients:
  • 332.50 ml finely grated cheddar
  • 165.00 ml finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
  • 40.00 ml Vegemite squeezy
Instructions:
  • Mix the cheddar and parmesan cheeses in a bowl.
  • On a lightly floured surface, lay out one sheet of pastry. Evenly spread half of the Vegemite on the pastry. Sprinkle with half of the cheese mixture. Place the remaining pastry sheet on top and press down gently. Spread the remaining Vegemite on top of the pastry stack and sprinkle with the remaining cheese mixture.
  • Slice the stack into 8 equal strips, then roll each strip into a delightful pinwheel shape before placing one in each pie maker cavity.
  • Preheat the pie maker, then close the lid and cook for 15 minutes or until the pastry is golden and cooked through. Transfer to a wire rack, repeat with the remaining pastry swirls, and serve.
