Elevate your ham with a sweet, sticky pineapple and brown sugar glaze, ideal for holiday feasts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (6 pound) fully-cooked, bone-in ham
  • 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple rings
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans pineapple juice
  • 2 cups brown sugar, divided
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Place the ham, cut-side down, in a roasting pan, then attach pineapple slices to the ham using toothpicks.
  • Roast the ham in the oven for 30 minutes at the preheated temperature.
  • Combine pineapple juice and 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until the glaze slightly thickens, approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat, keeping it warm.
  • Once the timer goes off, generously coat the ham with glaze before returning it to the oven for another half-hour. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar over the ham, drizzle with more glaze, and bake until the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 140 degrees F, approximately 30 minutes longer.
  • Take out of the oven and drizzle any remaining glaze on top.
