Indulgent condensed milk chocolate slice with Pineapple Lumps and milk arrowroot biscuits - a nostalgic treat not to miss!
Ingredients:
  • 165g butter, chopped, plus 45g, extra
  • 200g Baking Milk Chocolate, chopped
  • 395g can condensed milk
  • 185g bag Pineapple Lumps
  • 125g milk arrowroot biscuits, crushed
  • 200g Baking Dark Chocolate 45% Cocoa, chopped
Instructions:
  • Grease a 16 x 26cm slice pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving the long edges to hang over the sides.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, milk chocolate, and condensed milk together until smooth, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes.
  • Set aside 10 pineapple lumps. Dice the rest. Mix the biscuits and diced lumps in a large bowl and create a hole in the middle. Pour in the butter mixture and mix well. Transfer the mixture to the slice pan and even it out with a palette knife. Refrigerate for 2 hours to firm up.
  • Dice the 10 saved lumps. Melt dark chocolate and extra butter in a bowl over simmering water (ensure it doesn't touch the water). Stir until smooth. Spread the chocolate mixture over the slice. Sprinkle the diced lumps on top. Chill in the fridge overnight or until set. Use baking paper to lift the slice from the pan and cut into 24 pieces before serving.
