Tear and enjoy this easy, hands-on pizza pull-apart bread!
Ingredients:
  • 600.00 gm self-raising flour, sifted
  • 90g chilled unsalted butter, chopped
  • 150g chopped ham
  • 187.50 ml grated tasty cheese
  • 1 green capsicum, seeded and chopped
  • 128.75 gm milk
  • 137.50 gm tomato pasta sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 190C and prepare a baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
  • Combine flour and butter in a large bowl, then use your fingertips to gently rub the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
  • Combine ham, 1/2 cup cheese, capsicum, milk, and egg in a mixing bowl. Gently knead the mixture until just combined. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for another 3-4 minutes. Shape the dough into a 20cm round and place it on a prepared tray.
  • Score the dough into eight equal wedges like a pizza, making sure not to cut all the way through the base. Fill the cuts with pasta sauce and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the base. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes, then break into wedges and serve.
