Elevate your party with an easy sausage roll showstopper using store-bought pizza dough for an effortless, delicious treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3 x 200g pkts fresh pizza dough
  • 75g bought garlic butter, melted
  • 2.50 gm Italian seasoning
  • 2 x 500g pkts mini cocktail frankfurts
  • Tomato and basil pasta sauce, warmed
Instructions:
  • Follow the packet instructions to prepare the pizza dough.
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan forced. 2. Line the base and side of a 23cm springform pan with baking paper, then place a 7cm deep, 9cm wide ovenproof dish in the center of the pan. 3. Combine butter and seasoning in a small bowl, and season with pepper.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a 12 x 24cm rectangle. Cut it into twelve 4 x 6cm rectangles. Brush one piece with garlic butter, wrap a frankfurt in the centre, and seal the ends. Place in the pan and repeat with the remaining dough and frankfurts, arranging them in a circle.
  • Brush the top of the dish with the remaining flavorful garlic butter. Bake until golden and puffed, approximately 45 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a serving platter. Spoon pasta sauce into a bowl in the center for dipping. Serve and enjoy!
