Try this fun twist on Dutch apple pie for your next gathering - a pull-apart pie that's customizable with various fillings! Great for parties!
Ingredients:
  • 2 (14.1 ounce) packages refrigerated pie dough (such as Pillsbury®)
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333334326744 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Roll out the pie dough to a thin 1/8-inch thickness. Use a 2 1/2-inch round cookie cutter to cut out as many circles as possible.
  • Shape each circle into a boat shape by folding it in half and pinching the ends together. Fill each "pocket" with about 1/2 tablespoon of pie filling and position it face-up along the edge of a 9- or 10-inch springform pan. Keep going, wrapping the remaining dough circles around the edge of the pan, slightly overlapping each piece until the pan is covered.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a bowl until you get a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the pie pieces.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the edges of the dough and crumble topping are golden, for 17 to 20 minutes. Let cool briefly before serving.
  • Transfer the pie from the pan onto a serving platter, then gently detach the side of the springform pan. Leave the pie and the base on the serving dish and portion out desired pieces.
