Homemade pizzas loaded with your favorite toppings - a fun and easy crowd-pleaser from Rainbow Bakery Children’s Cookbook.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/3 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can (8 ounces) pizza sauce
  • Favorite meat toppings, such as sliced pepperoni, cut-up cooked chicken, cooked ground beef or sausage
  • Favorite vegetable toppings, such as broccoli, carrots, corn or olives
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 ounces)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F and lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. In a medium bowl, combine flour, Cheddar cheese, baking powder, salt, oil, and milk until a soft dough forms. Divide the dough into 6 parts and shape each into a 6-inch circle on the cookie sheet, pinching the edges to form a rim.
  • Cover the dough with flavorful pizza sauce, add a delicious combination of meat and veggies, then generously sprinkle with gooey mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted, usually 11 to 15 minutes.
