Make light, crispy pizzelles in no time with this simple batter in your pizzelle iron.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated or packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted and cooled
  • 1 tablespoon anise extract or vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat the pizzelle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions, then combine all ingredients.
  • Using a tablespoon, place batter onto each section of the heated pizzelle iron, then close the iron. Bake for about 30 seconds until golden brown. Gently take the pizzelle out of the iron and let them cool on a wire rack. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
