Easy poached salmon fillets in aromatic wine and herb-infused garlic butter for a flavorful and tender result.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 2 pounds salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1.5 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1.5 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, simmer the wine and water for 5 minutes.
  • Place salmon fillets into the fragrant, simmering poaching liquid. Add a pat of butter on each fillet, then generously sprinkle with parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Slowly bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then lower the heat to medium and gently cook until the salmon is firm and flakes easily with a fork, for about 10 to 15 minutes.
