Poached plums infused with star anise and cinnamon for a deliciously tender treat.
Ingredients:
  • 800g firm plums, halved, stones removed
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 3 star anise
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 20.00 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 82.50 ml low-fat vanilla yoghurt, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, mingle plums, sugar, star anise, cinnamon sticks, and vinegar. Stir delicately and simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Cook until plums are tender, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Serve with vanilla yogurt.
