Polish Cabbage Noodles

Ingredients:
  • 1 medium head shredded cabbage
  • 2 red onions, cut into strips
  • 1 (16 ounce) package wide egg noodles
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in a generously salted pot of water.
  • Heat butter or margarine in a skillet over medium heat, then saute cabbage and onions until tender.
  • After draining the pasta, combine it back in the pot with the cabbage and onion mixture. Toss everything together and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
