Elevate brownies with popping candy for a fun and delicious twist!
Ingredients:
  • 200g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 200g butter, chopped
  • 220g brown sugar
  • 3 Free Range Eggs
  • 150g plain flour
  • 35g cocoa powder
  • 60g sour cream
  • 205g Marvellous Creations Jelly Popping Candy Beanies chocolate block, coarsely chopped
  • 160g icing sugar mixture
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 50g butter, softened
  • 20.60 gm milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease and line a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper, leaving some paper hanging over the sides. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring constantly until smooth. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • Combine the sugar with the chocolate mixture, then stir in the eggs. Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and sour cream until well combined. Gently fold in one-third of the popping candy chocolate. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half of the remaining popping candy chocolate. Bake for 35-40 mins until a skewer comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan.
  • For the chocolate icing, simply mix icing sugar and cocoa powder in a medium bowl. Then, add butter and milk, and beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Transfer the brownie onto a beautiful serving plate. Cover generously with chocolate icing and scatter the rest of the popping candy chocolate on top. Slice into delicious pieces to serve.
