Delicious pork chops and rice seasoned with savory onion soup mix for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 4 (6 ounce) pork chops
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, sizzle the pork chops until golden on both sides. Transfer the chops out, keeping the flavorful drippings. Stir in onion soup mix and water, heating until fragrant.
  • Evenly layer the rice at the bottom of a 2 quart casserole dish. Place the pork chops on top of the rice. Pour the skillet mixture over the pork chops and rice, then cover.
  • Bake the covered dish for 45 minutes in a preheated oven. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until pork is no longer pink in the center and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) when checked with a thermometer.
