Tender pork chops braised in a flavorful mushroom wine sauce. Easy and delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 6 pork chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sliced mushrooms, cleaned
Instructions:
  • Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper. Sear the pork chops in the skillet for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden. Transfer the pork chops to a plate; they will continue cooking in the oven.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Keep the flavorful juices from the browned pork chops in the pan, then saute the diced onion until tender for about 5 minutes. Add the soup, white wine, and mushrooms, stirring until well combined. Remove from heat.
  • Return the browned pork chops to the pan with the sauce, drizzling extra sauce on top. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes covered, then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes. Serve with the sauce.
