Tender pork chops with creamy mushroom sauce served over fluffy rice.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (6 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can golden mushroom soup (such as Campbell's®)
  • 2 tablespoons water
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season pork chops with garlic salt and black pepper. Cook the pork chops in the hot oil until golden brown on each side, about 5 to 8 minutes per side. Remove chops to a plate.
  • In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook mushrooms until soft and stir occasionally for 5 to 8 minutes. While stirring, scrape and dissolve any browned bits. Add golden mushroom soup and water to the skillet, mix well with the mushrooms.
  • Add the pork chops along with their juices to the mushroom sauce. Cook gently, spooning the sauce over the chops from time to time, until the meat is cooked through and the juices run clear, about 10 to 15 minutes.
