Flour-coated pork chops seared, then baked with garlic, basil, and Marsala wine for a sensational dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 6 pork loin chops, 1 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 0.5 cup Marsala wine
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine the flour and garlic salt in a spacious resealable plastic bag, add the pork chops, and shake vigorously to coat them evenly.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sear the chops on both sides in hot oil. Transfer the seared chops to a baking dish and sprinkle them with basil before covering the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Roast in a preheated oven for 45 minutes. Uncover, drizzle Marsala wine, and bake for another 15 minutes, occasionally spooning the flavorful wine over the top. Remove any excess fat, season with salt and pepper, and enjoy!
